Report performance rebuild

Problem. Report generation was the single most common support request for a major Swedish payroll platform's reporting module — some reports took [X] hours to complete.

Approach. Rebuilt the data layer end to end: reworked query patterns, indexing, and how reports were generated, without changing the reports users relied on.

Result. Reports that used to take hours now complete in seconds. Support requests related to report performance: zero.

.NETProductAI agents

Time reporting platform + agentic AI

Problem. [Target users] had no good option for [the specific market gap] — existing time-reporting tools fell short.

Approach. Technically led the build of a new time reporting system from the ground up, then added a chatbot with full agent capabilities so people don't have to dig through reports to get an answer.

Result. Employees ask things like "how much have I worked this year?" or "if I take vacation in June, how many days will I have left?" Managers ask "who's most absent, and when?" — and get direct answers. [Adoption/impact numbers TBD]

support ticket reduction

Payroll & portal turnaround

Problem. A team maintaining two live systems — a payroll platform and a customer portal — while building a third was stretched too thin. The existing systems ran on tribal knowledge and manual workarounds.

Approach. Stepped in, refactored away the largest source of support tickets, and cut components that had made the stack unmaintainable. Made the call to stop the new-build project rather than force a migration nobody wanted — and modernized the old portal's UI and performance instead.

Result. [Team size]-person team, [timeframe] turnaround. Support load and maintainability both improved measurably. [Outcome metric TBD]
